September 4, 2010.
Suming the day with 2 words, time management. amf.

It’s not enough to be busy, so are the ants. The question is, what are we busy about? ~Henry David Thoreau

Event 1: Aiai's Celebration for passing the Nursing Board Exams. Ü
Location: Uragay Springs, Carmen Cebu
Time: 11:00-3:00 PM Manila Time
Attendees: Ouano and Moleta Family

Uragay Springs is located in Brgy Corte, Carmen Cebu. Travel time sums up to 1  hour and 30 minutes if you touch base in Cebu - about 1 hr ++ for the bus ride and about 15-20 minutes for the habal-habal (motorcycle) ride to the Springs. Entrance fee is about Php 40.00 for day use and Php 60.00 for overnight. Cottages, about Php 300.00++. Setting expectations: No available room accomodations. You get naturally flowing spring enclosed in a pool-like feature, 1 for adults and 1 for kids. The pool for adult is about 6-9 feet deep so be a bit careful when threading the waters. The water is cold and refreshing. The area has not been so commercialized so you can still feel mother nature's cool embrace. The cause for the celebration made the stay there so memorable. Congratulations Kathrine Moleta-Ouano. Ü
Swam on the stress-relieving waters of the adult pool.
Near death experience for Aiai and friend.
Ate Lechon, lechon, lechon. mmmmm
Picture taking, underwater and landscape.
Off to the next booking.

Event 2: Mariasol Maitem's 25th birthday Celebration. Ü

Location: Intosan Mountain Resort, Danao Cebu
Time: 4:00 - 9:00 PM Manila Time
Attendees: eTelecare/Stream friends

Intosan Resort was a huge facility alive with different sizes of pools for adults and children. Entrance fee is Php 120.00 for day use, and Php 150.00 for overnight.  Room charges range from Php 1,000 to 2,000++. Travel time is 1 hr from Cebu but about 10-20 minutes from Carmen. Definitely a very family friendly resort. Setting expectations: Rooms can house multiple occupants but as resort policy dictates, is good for 2. There are a jillion of pools and water features sure to tickle not only the young but also the 'feeling' young. Kiddy pools are very fun and playful but be sure to watch over your kiddies to do away with accidents. The pool for adult is about 6-9 feet deep. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. (Told you it was family friendly). Too bad some of the waterpark features (slides, etc) are closed at a specific time during dusk. But it was not a hindrance for us to enjoy the area.  Short kiddy moment with Merry, Kads and Princess with matching picture taking. Underwater shots with Shalei and BF, Rose, Merry, Princess, Kuya Kads. Innumerable food supply. :D Salamat Merry and Basty. *yum* :P Sparklers, uber uber candles for birthday cake.
Puto cheese. Shrimps. Gilbeys vodka+pine orange mix. (ninja ninja puslitToo bad I wasn't able to really make the most of the venue. Off to the next booking.

Event 3: Sitio Pilit Fiesta/Baby Keethan Jonx's Christening. Ü

Time: 11:00 - 3:00 AM Manila Time
Attendees: Mixed Friends

Entrance, free. Travel time, @%$&^(@#.
This was the culmination of the busy Saturday I had.
Unfortunately, I was not able to make it to the Baptismal Ceremony. It having been held in the afternoon, while me arriving late that night. Get to catch up with  close family friend, Mrs Jennileth Marie Martirez-Pagal. Saw Keethan sleeping; Keesha (his '1 year' older sister). Wala nako nag ka gana mo kaon kay cge ra ko kaon the whole day. Nibbled on home-made cupcakes. 'Respectar' shots of RH. Talked some more. Finally decided to call it a day and head on home. Got caught by some of my close friend's inuman session. Nasangit na sad ko. Another 'Respectful' drinking marathon. Decided to put on a poker face acting like I'm belly drunk and sleepy. It worked so headed home. Called it a night.
Hoh! What a day.

*********
Had some thoughts before I voyaged to slumber.
I will never joggle 2 or more events in a day.
It's not that I couldn't manage switching location but I guess it's a question on where my mind or attention is at. I guess I owe it to the people who I'm with.
I do not want to ever have my attention divided between 2 important events.
Lesson (hopefully) learned.
Prioritize. I think that's the key.
You can't drink all the beer you want.
Choose the event. Enjoy the people. Cherish the moment.
