Color Team in Intosan

25th-26th.September.2010
Intosan Waterpark Resort
Danao City

With the budget shouldered by the company, our main concern was how to spend the money. The best way we could think about is to spend it in activities involving fun, food and booze. The team decided to have a team building/family day in Intosan. Good thing we decided to hold the team building in Intosan because it's only a few steps away from Pakay's BF's house. It was his birthday. Riz, Aqui and I were invited that night. Anyway, here are a few pictures and fast forward tags of what happened.
25th.
Night swimming.
Lechon. Uber food. Pakay's BF's house.
10PM walked over to Intosan to meet Color Team.
tong-its, card game - Cyrus vs Calvin vs Balor vs Beast.
Gin+Ice Tea. 1st mix of the night.
Cyrus: 'I'm Rich, I'm drunk and I'm horny.'
Semi-drunk playing tong-its.
Welcomed Sept 26 with alcohol.
Absolut Vodka+Sprite. 2nd mix of the night.
Cyrus all read eyes, skin and drunk.
Tequila+Calamansi. 3rd mix of the night.
June, Simba and Nieco's heart to heart talk.
Brutally frank talk about love, life and individuality.
4am. called it a day. Went back to Pakay's BF's house to sleep with Riz and Aqui.
26th.
10am. Woke up and brought Riz and Aqui to Intosan.
Lechon. Food. Food. Food.
Swimming. Enjoyed waterpark with Aqui.
Lame color adventure race since people's lazy switch turned on again.
Still had a bit of fun thanks to very respectful team mates.
Respectful in the sense that they gave in to the challenge of the game
because of my efforts in organizing it.
Disappointed but totally expected the outcome.
Charades. Boys VS Girls.
Tequila mix. Didn't drink since Aqui is around.
Drunk team mate.
Ended the day with running noise and no tan.

Assessment:
It would have been fun if they cooperated and participated in all the games I prepared.
Researched and prepared the set in order to encourage group dynamics.
Dang these lazy team mates! Oh, well.
It was still fun for Aqui so I'm satisfied.
Even if I did not get my tan. amf.

Juiced out ~

It's been more than 3 weeks now. I cannot find my mojo. I can't juice out any creative idea in me. What's wrong? Is this a glitch? Is this something permanent? Good Lord, I hope not. Guess I just need a vacay. 'Ave been rumbling about it for awhile. Tick Tock. Octoberfest is going to start some time soon. Got to make the month a busy one. wOot! wOot!

popcorn thoughts ~ Two Face

People are two-sided.
They can tell you something but totally does the opposite right after.
They pretend that they're interested but the fact is, they just don't want to hurt your feelings.
I'm so full of these type of masked a**hole but when I look deeper, I'm one of them.
I'm not a hypocrite. I admit.
I'm a masked a**hole.
But not to my friends. I'll brutally tell you anything you need to know - messy or mushy.
If you haven't heard anything from me otherwise, you may not be one of those people.

Next Attraction. Where to go?

Next Attraction.

Where to go, that I do not know
A destination in mind and you on my side
Tickles my senses, erases my pretense
Where to go, that I still don't know
Ideas freely flowing. My bio-clock keeps ticking.
My most-deserved vacation. the next attraction. Soon.

Mantras ~

I need a vacation. I need a vacation. I need a vacation.
I love my job. I love my job. I love my job.

Mantras I religiously tell myself once a day.
The latter, I'm not so into.
Just need to say it aloud to wake myself up.
*sigh*

~all good wishes to you - the person who broke me in two.

Hope all the ones who got their hearts broken find it in them to wish those who broke it good wishes.

My Wish
Rascal Flatts

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big

~when you think aloud!

I think aloud. I blab. I push.
When do I stop?

People push you to say what you feel. You tell them. They get offended.
But when you think about it, they were the ones who ask you to speak your mind.
I am straight-forward. I say what I think you have the right to know about.
I'd like to think I wake people up when I tell them what swims around my pools,
or when I tell them what they're doing bad or good.
But sometimes, they get the exact opposite.
It may be the way I say it or the tone of my voice, that I am not certain.
So where do I stand? Should I or should I not tell them?

Jam-packed weekend. (Carmen-Danao-Cabancalan)

September 4, 2010.
Suming the day with 2 words, time management. amf.

It’s not enough to be busy, so are the ants. The question is, what are we busy about? ~Henry David Thoreau

Event 1: Aiai's Celebration for passing the Nursing Board Exams. Ü
Location: Uragay Springs, Carmen Cebu
Time: 11:00-3:00 PM Manila Time
Attendees: Ouano and Moleta Family

Uragay Springs is located in Brgy Corte, Carmen Cebu. Travel time sums up to 1  hour and 30 minutes if you touch base in Cebu - about 1 hr ++ for the bus ride and about 15-20 minutes for the habal-habal (motorcycle) ride to the Springs. Entrance fee is about Php 40.00 for day use and Php 60.00 for overnight. Cottages, about Php 300.00++. Setting expectations: No available room accomodations. You get naturally flowing spring enclosed in a pool-like feature, 1 for adults and 1 for kids. The pool for adult is about 6-9 feet deep so be a bit careful when threading the waters. The water is cold and refreshing. The area has not been so commercialized so you can still feel mother nature's cool embrace. The cause for the celebration made the stay there so memorable. Congratulations Kathrine Moleta-Ouano. Ãœ
Swam on the stress-relieving waters of the adult pool.
Near death experience for Aiai and friend.
Ate Lechon, lechon, lechon. mmmmm
Picture taking, underwater and landscape.
Off to the next booking.

Event 2: Mariasol Maitem's 25th birthday Celebration. Ü

Location: Intosan Mountain Resort, Danao Cebu
Time: 4:00 - 9:00 PM Manila Time
Attendees: eTelecare/Stream friends

Intosan Resort was a huge facility alive with different sizes of pools for adults and children. Entrance fee is Php 120.00 for day use, and Php 150.00 for overnight.  Room charges range from Php 1,000 to 2,000++. Travel time is 1 hr from Cebu but about 10-20 minutes from Carmen. Definitely a very family friendly resort. Setting expectations: Rooms can house multiple occupants but as resort policy dictates, is good for 2. There are a jillion of pools and water features sure to tickle not only the young but also the 'feeling' young. Kiddy pools are very fun and playful but be sure to watch over your kiddies to do away with accidents. The pool for adult is about 6-9 feet deep. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. (Told you it was family friendly). Too bad some of the waterpark features (slides, etc) are closed at a specific time during dusk. But it was not a hindrance for us to enjoy the area.  Short kiddy moment with Merry, Kads and Princess with matching picture taking. Underwater shots with Shalei and BF, Rose, Merry, Princess, Kuya Kads. Innumerable food supply. :D Salamat Merry and Basty. *yum* :P Sparklers, uber uber candles for birthday cake.
Puto cheese. Shrimps. Gilbeys vodka+pine orange mix. (ninja ninja puslitToo bad I wasn't able to really make the most of the venue. Off to the next booking.

Event 3: Sitio Pilit Fiesta/Baby Keethan Jonx's Christening. Ü

Location: Martirez' Residence, Pilit Cabancalan
Time: 11:00 - 3:00 AM Manila Time
Attendees: Mixed Friends

Entrance, free. Travel time, @%$&^(@#.
This was the culmination of the busy Saturday I had.
Unfortunately, I was not able to make it to the Baptismal Ceremony. It having been held in the afternoon, while me arriving late that night. Get to catch up with  close family friend, Mrs Jennileth Marie Martirez-Pagal. Saw Keethan sleeping; Keesha (his '1 year' older sister). Wala nako nag ka gana mo kaon kay cge ra ko kaon the whole day. Nibbled on home-made cupcakes. 'Respectar' shots of RH. Talked some more. Finally decided to call it a day and head on home. Got caught by some of my close friend's inuman session. Nasangit na sad ko. Another 'Respectful' drinking marathon. Decided to put on a poker face acting like I'm belly drunk and sleepy. It worked so headed home. Called it a night.
Hoh! What a day.

*********
Had some thoughts before I voyaged to slumber.
I will never joggle 2 or more events in a day.
It's not that I couldn't manage switching location but I guess it's a question on where my mind or attention is at. I guess I owe it to the people who I'm with.
I do not want to ever have my attention divided between 2 important events.
Lesson (hopefully) learned.
Prioritize. I think that's the key.
You can't drink all the beer you want.
Choose the event. Enjoy the people. Cherish the moment.

Celebrating Rhyzze's birthday (Simala-Argao)

September 01, 2010. 23 years since the Rhyzze announced her existence with an astounding cry of happiness; since first sight of the world, since the first time she was out from her mom's womb.  September 01, 2010 is such a special day to her. I wouldn't pass the chance celebrating it with such a special person in my life. The original plan was just to go out to dinner and have time by ourselves. But adventurous as we are, we decided to go with AiAi and Nestley to Simala to visit the miraculous Mother Mary on the church.  So right after shift, she waited for me outside the office and off we went to South Bus Terminal to meet with AiAi and Nestley. She doesn't have any idea that we cooked out a small surprise for her.
***
Red and purple balloons. 1-2 hrs bus ride to Sibonga, another 15 mins to Simala Church. Majestic and very European church architecture. Breath-taking scene. 'Holistic' feel in the air. Scourging hot sun. Colored candles with specific meaning. (Bought Gold for health, Rhyzze got Blue for future endeavors). Uber mind-blowing confessions and testimonials of people who got what they wanted or prayed for after visiting the church. Clear-glass cabinets flooded with proofs of how miracles where indeed true because of faith. Vast accounts of people whose got healed, prayers answered. awed by Virgin Mary's Statue. Felt her presence. Was astonished by how things happen with deep and undying faith to God. Bid her goodbye with big smiles and renowned faith. Rode a tricy-cab to Mahayahay Beach in Argao to have lunch. Special thanks to Aiai and Nestley for lunch. Ãœ Pumped Rhyzze's birthday celebration with surprise cupcakes with candles. Munched on Nestley's adobo, Aiai's rice, Choks to go's lechon manok, selecta's ice cream, coke and Krispy Kreme's doughnuts. Had so much fun celebrating it with really special people. Planned the next trip but reminded self not to inform Nestley way ahead of time. Apparently, she's the biggest jinx to out of town trips. nyaha! ><,

(L-R) Aiai, Nestley, Rhyzze and me

Happy Birthday MomiBhi!
Until our next adventure.
I love you so much.
