The Davao Hullabaloo Part 2

Davao
21-24.June.2011

Hey hey hey. Ho ho ho. I will let you know about it soon. Tapusin ko muna tong tsapter tungkol sa Davao. dito yung una oh, Davao Hullabaloo Part 1

Day 3: The quest for the that adrenalin pump
Round 1. ZiplineAfter an uber relaxing stay at BlueJaz, General crazed for an activity to pumped her blood up with thrill and ecstacy (not the drug). So we headed back to the city and booked for night's stay at Chateau Veronica Apartelle then went our way to our first stop. A google here and a few locals later, we arrived at our first stop - Outland Adventure Xcelerator Zip Line. They were the first and longest in the country then, but was beaten by ziplines from other parts of the country after a year or two. The height was pretty intimidating. Chills crawled from my head down to the dirt in my toe. General was obviously a bit scared, but I wasn't. I was a lot scared! But but but put up with a smile to conceal it to convince her not to be. (Well I was more of convincing myself). The staff was ever supportive. Suggesting more exciting and crazier ways to zipline. I was pretty sure I almost wanted to try out the head down. Almost. Hoh! Two zips away and I'm down. I almost peed in my pants. wew! The company boasted that it's not the length but the scream factor. It was definitely scary. I almost screamed like a lil missy but was able to manage not to. How embarrassing would that turn out to be, eh?

muntik na akong maihi. shets!
Round 2. Crocodiles and the likes. We couldn't stop laughing and blabbering about the feeling we had while ziplining. We decided to take a break and chilled for a bit. The animal lover that I am, we paid a visit to davao's sorta-kinda zoo.

kiss that snake! amp. :O
**buntong hininga**

...asan na you?
mga couzinz. yo wadup.

Round 3. Zorv Ball. Good luck to the animals. Moving forward.

Day 4: Pack-up na. Bye bye Davao.
(May Chat ulit. AMp.)
met up with my previous supervisor Shay at tumambay sa Abreeza at Ice Giant before our flight. Durian Ice cream and blue berry sundaes. yum yum...not
D kasi ako fan eh. catch up lang tapos relax mode while waiting for the flight back.
Then before we knew it, CEBU na!

durian is definitely not for me. ulk.

englisan na naman para masaya. My experience in Davao was exceptional. I had a great time with the love of my life, Riz and that made it extra special. What an amazing way to celebrate another year together. Davao is such a peaceful and clean city. I wish Cebu is in a way that clean. However, I was not really  mesmerized about the place. I was a bit disappointed. I was hoping to experience more of davao but I guess what I need is time. More time. I'd definitely have to brush up on my Filipino. Davaoenoes casually mix bisaya and tagalog. :) Would definitely have to work on my gut when it comes to durian.

Davao, salamat. babalik akow...swear.

PS. Plinano kong makipag-meet sa mga davao bloggers like kikomaxxx and jag pero parang out of context naman kasi that vacay was for us ni riz. baka mabigla ko siya. ehehehe..
